Three-Sentence Essay Scholarship

Submit a three-sentence essay on a topic selected by Zinch for a chance to win a scholarship towards your technical school education. Scholarships are awarded each week and are based on essay responses. High school, college and international students are eligible for this award. Awards are made directly to the student to cover tuition, books or personal expenses. Applications can be submitted online through the Zinch website.

ASIST Scholarship

Adults transitioning back to postsecondary school can apply for the Adults in Scholastic Transition (ASIST) scholarship. Applicants must demonstrate the desire to overcome an economic, physical or social hardship through postsecondary education. Twelve $2,500 scholarships are available each year to applicants 18 and older. Selections are based on your ability to clearly articulate your career goals and past adversities while highlighting how a technical degree will improve your circumstances.

Xerox Technical Scholarship

Students enrolled or planning to enroll in a technical degree program may be eligible to receive the Xerox Technical Scholarship. The scholarship is available to minority students majoring in engineering, material science, chemistry, computing and software systems, printing management science, laser optics, physics or related fields. Award amounts range from $1,000 to $10,000 each year. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA or above to qualify.

Women’s Independence Scholarship Program

Women seeking a degree from a technical school can apply to receive the Women’s Independence Scholarship Program. The program was created to assist female survivors of domestic abuse gain self- sufficiency through education. Priority is given to female applicants with children suffering financial hardship. Former victims of abuse must prove separation from their partners from a minimum of one year.
